Our founder, Jamison Taylor found that many of the merchants she used for her wedding had a tendency to over promise and under deliver, but she also realized that there was a core group of vendors who were professional, committed and conducted business by the golden rule. After her wedding, Jamison joined with this core group of quality vendors to create CertifiedWeddingpros.com. Our professionals average 22 years of wedding experience. They believe that every bride is a princess and every groom is a prince. They want every wedding to be perfect. When a complication does arise, they resolve it quickly and professionally. CertifiedWeddingPro.com members are all independent businesses who have simply banded together to let brides know that there are professional, caring merchants who want your wedding to be perfect. Not every wedding merchant can qualify to be a CertifiedWeddingpros.com Member. Merchants who apply for membership in CertifiedWeddingPros.com must meet the following requirements. They must submit a minimum of three bridal references. Our staff calls every reference as well as other vendors in the applicants area. We create a complete profile of the applicant that is then taken to Jamison and the Membership Committee where the application is reviewed and voted on. All members agree to abide by our Creed which is outlined on the left, and all members contribute membership fees to CertifiedWeddingpros.com thereby allowing us to reach out to brides and let them know that there are quality wedding vendors who believe in doing business to a higher standard. CertifiedWeddingPros.com started 2004 with just 102 members, mostly in Southern California. As word of this incredible group of merchants reached brides we received hundreds of requests for similar lists in other states. Now, CertifiedWeddingpros.com is represented in every state and while some states have just a few members, 2005 will see membership grow past the 1500 member point and by August 2005 CertifiedWeddingPros.com will begin working with our first group of European wedding vendors.
